If a student is sick and would like to Zoom in, I would prefer they send me an email before class. If they send the email at least an hour before class, I will most likely see it and then email them the Zoom link before class.
Zoom guidelines.
1. Request for Zoom before class.
2. Be in Zoom and prepared when class begins.
3. Participate in class and be present the whole class time.
Simply put, if you are in a Zoom, you should act as if you were sitting in your desk for class.
